Kiana moved to the US from Iran at the age of 20 to continue her education. She graduated with a B.S degree from the School of Hospitality Administration (SHA) at Boston University and furthered her education by achieving a full-time MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Her background in business management and her entrepreneurial ambition led her to co-founding Kiyasa Group with her sister Yasamin. Now based in Mexico, Kiana leads the company’s international expansion including Latin America and the Middle East.
Christie Connick is the National Sales Manager at Kiyasa Group. She joins Kiyasa Group with a B.S. Degree in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design from the University of Rhode Island. Her professional experience spans over 12 years in the luxury market of designer Tabletop, Jewelry and Fashion. Having worked for top brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Slane & Slane and Michael Aram she brings a knowledge and understanding of the luxury market to the team. Christie has a great enthusiasm for the tabletop industry and for cultivating and fostering relationships with all of our retail and industry partners. Born and raised in New York, Christie is based out of our beautiful showroom in Manhattan. When not working with you on your assortments, Christie can be found enjoying one of NYC’s newest eateries or on the beaches of the Hampton’s.
Yasamin moved to the US from Iran at the age of 21 to continue her education in design. With a B.S in Economics already under her belt, she furthered her education in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and a completed a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture & Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania. Her drive and passion led her to co-founding Kiyasa Group with her sister, where she brings her knowledge in design and economics. Based in the NY Showroom, Yasamin leads and manages the US operations.
Farnoosh has over 12 years of experience in business, high tech, legal and educational environments. She has BS in Applied Mathematics, and certificates in Accounting and MS Office applications. She firmly believes that to experience life, it is essential to always be mindful of space, location, those you interact with, and most importantly how you make others feel. She thrives on the excitement of uncharted territories and taking on challenges by trusting to word of “Process.” Her hobbies are playing the piano, swimming, and creating flower arrangements. She received first place in the 2011 California State floral design competition.
Fargol has over 8 years of diverse experience in the field of accounting and finance management in different countries. After working in Tehran for five years as a statistician for the county’s largest Insurance company (Asia Insurance) she came to the US and continued her work at KC Wilson and H&R Block. She received her Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance Management in 2010, and joined Kiyasa Group in 2013 as the chief accountant. She loves working with numbers and enjoys playing tennis & reading books.
